Marybeth  Balzer – Hi!  I’m originally from Roanoke, Virginia, but I have been living in Utah for the past three years.  I received my Bachelor of Science in InterdisciplinaryStudies from Radford University and my Master of Education degree from Averett University. This is my 5th year teaching overall, but my first year teaching 4th grade!  I have a German Shepard/Poodle mix named Odin, and we love to be outside.  I also love to watch sports and craft.  I am so excited to be part of the Tiger family this year!

Sharryn Cash -- I am from Kansas City, Missouri, and graduated college from Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri. I have taught for 18 years, and this is my 6th year at WCHE.  My family moved to Texas in 2006.  I have three kids, Grace, Gavin, and Garrett.  I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and gardening.

Lauren Massey -- Hello, Tigers!  I am a born and raised Austinite.  The only time I lived outside of Austin was when I attended Texas Tech University from 2014-2017.  I hold my Bachelors in History with minors in Psychology and Spanish.  This is my 3rd year of teaching, and I am super excited to be a part of the Tiger 4th Grade Team!  I spend my free time reading and trying out new recipes.

Noelle McDaniel -- I am a Texas State graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am certified to teach EC-8th. I have taught grades 3, 4, and 5. This is my ninth year of teaching.  Math and writing are my favorite subjects to teach.  I have been married to my husband, Dusty, for 14 years. We have two lovely daughters. Finley plays volleyball and is in 6th, and Charlotte plays softball and is in 3rd. Our sweet 4-year-old black lab, Boone, completes our family.

Caitlyn Vilven -- Hi, Tigers! I am very excited to be part of the wonderful team of teachers here at West Cypress Hills Elementary for my 3rd year! I graduated from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas, in May of 2019 with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (EC-6). Learning is my passion, and I look forward to sharing it with every student in my classroom. In my spare time, I love to read, listen to music, or watch movies with my husband and our sassy cat, Luna.
